Time for a change: NEURON is still alive and kicking, we've written a couple of new songs, 9 so far to be more correct and will be recording them somtime this year. Another song will be "Religion Is A Fraud" of DISRUPT-fame that will be out on a tribute-cd on POWER IT UP later this year.

Hi there, I gues we were a bit lazy with the english updates hm?
Anyway, to cut it short: In the last months we played a gig at Düsseldorfs Kieferstraße and enjoyed it a lot, Hendrik decided to leave NEURON but came back a few weeks later, at time we are in some kind of hybernation though Jamal does his final tests at school (Yes, he is quite younger than the rest of us). Guess NEURON will be back at the beginning of May...

Beautiful People,
o.k. I stole this one from Topma Lindberg, but anyway NEURON is still alive! On the creeper lane, but not dead yet!
Quite a lot private shit and problems for the band made the first half of 2008 a hard time for us all. The private things remain private, bandwise we got kicked out of our rehearsal room and it took month of time and a lot of sweat of Hendrik to get us a new one. Finally we made it and are about to write new songs and regain our tightness for some livegigs. If you feel like setting up one: Get in touch! We are quite easy to handle and desire only water, bread and a hard floor to sleep, hehe..
Concerning this page I fixed a lot of links, added some, check them out, all cool bands and people. On our myspace-page you can find two videos taken on the "Giants Of Grind" fest a couple of years ago. We got some DVDs left here, so if you like one, look at our shop. Nick from Crimes Agaginst Humanity Records opened a great D.I.Y.-punkdownload portal called CAHDOWNLOADS. You can find our record and many other mp3s there for cheap, so go and help to refund the production of our first record.
For the german speaking people you can find our tourdiary again and an interview we did with the CAMPAIGN FOR MUSICAL DESTRUCTIONfanzine some time ago. It's worth a read, even we got some trouble with AUDIOKOLLAPS, which we really love from the depth of our slimy little hearts. No joke...Take care

NEWS 08.07.2007 Finally some really good news!

There´s a new drummer in the fold! After all the hassle with different drummers and a long time of annoying inactivity, it can finally go on!
The new guy is Jamul, a very talented guy who´s only 17 years old and already fast as fuck. In the first rehearsal he knew the songs from "gleichschritt" better than we did and learned one of the new ones within 10 minutes. So expect seeing us on stage in the near future and prepare for new stuff! It´s about time!

NEURON short of a drummer!

It´s becoming a bad habit: once more we lost our drummer, due to the infamous musical differences. That means we can wipe our ass with this year´s studio-/touring plans again. Nevertheless, we will continue the band and are by now looking for a drummer fast, precise and politically interested enough to give it a try with. More to come...

Hi punx,
half a year has gone by since our last update, SORRY for that. NEURON is still alive and kicking though we all had some other projects this summer going on like being operated, begining to work in the cruel world of capitalism, and me becoming father of a cool son.
Concerning NEURON we wrote 5 new songs in the vein of the "Gleichschritt"-Lp, some cool mix of crust, hardcore and deathmetal, 3 short crust-smashers and 2 more complex songs with a little thrash in it but still far away from being metal..
Anybody feeling like seeing us live: Set up a gig and we will be there. Thanx for your patience and TAKE CARE

Hi there, time to update the english section of our page. The month started with a nice gig in Celle, lots of very young punks and metalheads there, but hey, they are the future. Our thanks go out to the people who set up the gig and the guys from Tackberry, another Kiel located band we haven' t even met before. Strange world.
Sad news from the EX-STEFFI in Karlsruhe, Germany. We played one of the gretaest gigs there on our tour with Acao Direta in 2004. Now the huge place has been closed down and destroyed by the pigs. FUCK THE SYSTEM and all the best for the people who lived and created there!
Anyway, I put some reviews and the tourdiary from the ACAO DIRETA / NEURON tour on the media page. The diary is in german, if you are able to translate it: Any help is welcome.

New NEURON line-Up

It´s been quiet around us for some time, but there´s a reason for that. What nobody wants now has happened to us: We had a change in the line-up . Unfortunately we had to part ways with our drummer Sören for some musical and personal differences. However, the search didn´t last for long; our new band mate is ex-Noise Forest drummer Jürgen Hardt. We are currently rehearsing to be able to play live again in the near future.

Furthermore, in the brains of Owe and me, there are already enough songs for the next album. You see, we´ve been on hold for a while, but we´re not gone. So: be prepared for more political crust-grind-death, for there´s much more to say!!!

After a few delays our album „Gleichschritt“ will finally be out in August on Epistrophy, both on LP and CD. There will also be some t-shirts, everything available for the gigs and the tour.

dirty bastard

Neuron is a new band from Kiel, Germany, which, with a slightly different line-up, already released an album in 2000 under the former name Fleischwolf. After Fleischwolf called it quits, an even filthier bastard of crustcore, grindcore and deathmetal started off.

The aim was clearly defined: to play simple, brutal, political in-your-face music that ought to be unique as well as impressive. So the band wrote songs that create an aggressive atmosphere, combined with roaring statements on a fucked up world.

The power of the songs already convinced several critics and brought the band airplay on the internet radio station flora.
